  1. Recap of Last Week's Starts or Sits at the Genesis Open
Starts- Starts-Dustin Johnson had a good week finishing at -7 for 9th place. Justin Thomas, enough about his play last weekend as he shot a -13 for second place. The player that many experts thought man up and play better was a three time past winner Bubba Watson who shot -6 for fifth place. Solid player each week, Jon Rahm put down a -7 on his score card for a ninth place finish.
The question of the week could Bryson DeChambeau catch some momentum early. The answer like the course on Thursday and Friday, a washout as he shot a -6 tied with numerous other golfers in 15th place. We also finally placed Rory McIlroy as a start and he did not disappoint us with -11 for the wek good for fourth place!
Week 5 Average:50 Strokes (8.3) for a 8th place finish, 4 top 10 finishes and 6 of 6 Make Cut
Longshot: Tiger Woods did okay with a -6 for 15th place this week, not bad, not good either as he finished with a gang of players tied at that place.
Sits: Adam Scott did better than half of the starter picks this week at -9 for seventh place. I guess we will not throw this Aussie on the barbe any time soon. Well in a recurring theme this week, sit selection Finau shot another -6 for you guessed it, 15th place.
Week 5 Average: 15 Strokes (7.5) for a 11th place finish, and 2 for 2 Make Cut.

Totals for the Season:
Start Average: -329 (11.6) 28 Golfers, (16h Place), 28 for 28 Make Cut, 1 (0.20)Win and 16 (3.3) Top Ten Finishes.
Sit Average: -98(9.8) 10 Golfers, (18th Place) and 10 of 11 Make Cut, 1 (0.20) Win and 3 Top (0.6) Ten Finishes.

Starts and Sits for the World Golf Championships-Mexico Championship
Starts- One has to wonder if Justin Thomas can make it back this week from his 'massive' choke at the Genesis. We will watch it again with apprehension. The ever dependable Dustin Johnson always a solid pick.
It can get pretty basic with a pick like Rory McIIroy, however, an easy choice when he is on game. Also, if it looks like another repeat pick, it is for Jon Rahm. All he ever does is finish in the top ten. The last two players will be Rickie Fowler and Marc Leishman.
Long Shot: Gary Woodland, ranked fifth in greens in regulation and sixth in strokes gained per approach. His best finish in two years was at the WGC Mexico, a 38th place finish. However, steady play this season has him with Top 10s at the Tournament of Champions a 2nd place, The Farmers (T9) and Waste Management (T7).
Sits: Patrick Reed's time has come and gone this season after win earlier in the year. Also, a rather large course to play that needs a big hitter, apply to him and Tony Finau.

Good Luck,
Colin, 'The Irish Highwayman'
