                  Recap of Last Week's Starts or Sits at the Valspar Championship.

Starts: Who was hot and not seemd to have been flipped last week as Dustin Johnson shot a -5 for a Fifth place tie with fellow Start selection Rahm. Okay, you might be thinking, what's wrong with those scores, if you dropped off the earth last week. To quote a famous sports announcer from a by gone era, “Oh Nellie, you ain't seen nothing yet...” Sergio Garcia had a +4 for a 54^th place finish, then the three amigos, Webb Simpson +6, Jason Day +3 and Patrick Reed +10 all missed the cut!.

Longshot: We would even had done better last week if Kevin Kisner, (who shot a -1 for 24^th place) was selected. The last time I use the odds chart for picks!!!

Week 10 Average: +13 strokes (+2.2 ) for a 51 st. place finish, of 3 of 6 Make Cut and 2 of 6 Finish Top10.

Sits:I want to give last week's comments on the two golfers I placed on the bench, and focus on the comments why not to play, the first Bubba Watson, this pick may back fire on me, because he seems to play better the weeks I do not pick as a starter! I did start him because I only had two actives on my roster with his -6 and 4^th place effort. The next player was Paul Casey, who might just be laying in the weeds to win, based on the lack of top players in the tournament. Oh, he laid there like a cougar and ripped my throat out like a new born lamb with a first place win at a -8!

Week 10 Average: 14 strokes (7.0) for a 2^nd Place finish, 1 Win, 2 of 2 Top 10 Finish and 2 of 2 Make Cut.

Totals for the Season:

Start Average: -390 (7.0) 58 Golfers, (22nd Place), 46 for 52 Make Cut, 2 (0.20)Wins and 23 (2.3) Top Ten Finishes in 10 Weeks.

Sit Average: -141(7.9) 18 Golfers, (20thPlace) and 16 of 18 Make Cut, 2 (0.20)Wins and 7 Top (0.6) Ten Finishes.

Taking a vacation like most of our players this week. It seems a three million dollae purse not worth their time, and mine also, because MLB starts up!!!! If you live in the North East part of the United States, take a sweater with you and hit some balls at a driving range or play a round this weekend, the forecast looks great for golf!
